Model: SOLO II x Alpine Standard
This eyewear wasn’t designed at a desk — it was shaped by altitude, tested on ridges, and fine‑tuned on ice. Built for when you’re above 3,000 meters and the sun is your enemy, not your friend. Born in the Italian Alps, the Solo II x AlpineStandards was field-tested by certified mountain guides from the Aosta Valley, through snow, mixed terrain, and exposed rock — in all four seasons. From the integral traverse of the Aiguille Noire du Peuterey to high-altitude pushes on the 4,000 m peaks of the Monte Rosa massif, this eyewear has already lived more than most. The launch visuals were created by Agostino Chiarucci (@agostinochiarucci), who developed a series of visual diptychs pairing technical close-ups of the eyewear with portraits of mountaineers captured in their most intense post-climb moments — at the end of long days, burned by the sun but protected by Solo II.
